“Sometime in your life you will go on a journey.

It will be the longest journey you have ever taken.

It is the journey to find yourself.”

Hi My Friend,

I trust that this finds you well and thriving.  I have completed all of the Introductory Sessions for the next Lines In The Sand class which will start in late March.  I am happy to find so many of you who are dedicated to carving out one day a month just for yourself.  For those of you who have committed, I look forward to leading you through this journey of taking a closer look at your life and recognizing the sacred in ordinary moments.  You are going to love this expedition!

It never ceases to amaze me that the world gives me exactly what I need, exactly when I need it.  Below is an excerpt from my morning “Quiet Time”…

“Maybe you have set aside time to begin the journey of your authentic self.

Then again, maybe you haven’t…

If you wonder why I suspect this, it’s because I’ve been where you are now.  I know.  I know how days, weeks, months, even years can escape your grasp.  I know what it’s like to put everyone else’s needs before your own so that you can’t find a half-hour a day for yourself.  I know how easy it is to find heartfelt excuses for why you can’t begin something new even if you yearn to, desperately.  I know how easily the word “tomorrow” slips out unconsciously.  Tomorrow you will begin.  Tomorrow.  All this I know.

But what I know most of all is that learning about a journey is not the same thing as taking one.

Now that I’ve got your attention, let me tell you about the rest of the year.  Each day from now on we’re going to usethe daily grist of our real lives as a cause for celebration.  That’s right, celebration.  I have learned many lessons on mypath.  Chief among them is that the details of our days do make a difference in our lives, that no experience is ever just for drill, and that everything can be a springboard for inspiration if we are willing to be open to the goodness of life.”

This I know for sure…we can all “do” better and “be” better, and I am at the very front of that line.  Please know that I am not insisting that “Lines In The Sand” is the only way to do better or be better.  There are many valuable “personal development” tools available to you.  However, what I am asking is how many times in the past have you chosen not to change your life for the better simply by NOT choosing?  If you choose to join me on the “Lines In The Sand” voyage you will be glad you finally pulled up your anchor and set your sails.  If you choose another option for your personal development I bless your decision and I hope that you find abundant joy and purpose!  Either way, please choose and create the life you want to live.

2016

The first class will start on Wednesday, January 20, 2016.  We will meet on the third Wednesday of each month so mark your calendar for the entire year.  Make the time, do this for yourself.
