Chunk It Down

Have you ever started a ‘big’ project and somewhere along the line ‘give up’ because it was too big and overwhelming for you?  The best way to avoid the overwhelm and get things done is to chunk it down.  What do I mean by that?  Let’s say that you want to clean out your garage.  If you step back and look at the project in its entirety, it looks massive, impossible, and unaccomplishable.  However, if you step back and say, “I am going to manage those six boxes today”, it becomes more doable.  Decide that you will allot a certain amount of time each day or week, or weekend to the ‘big project .’ Then, eventually, you will have completed your task.

My Invitation

I invite you to consider this approach to any aspect of your life that feels too big, too much, too daunting, or downright impossible.  As the saying goes, you eat an elephant one bite at a time.  Please look at the video below to learn about how I navigated through a huge project that took me sixteen months to complete.

Stay true and be you —
